From the first walk-through they spotted issues my last installer missed — came back the next day, sorted the slope under the tub, and finished the entire shower in three days. Looks better than the showroom photo.
Custom curbless showers, large-format porcelain, and heated bathroom floors — installed by Grande Visto across Winnipeg & Manitoba.
Trade systems
we build with
Italian-trained craft on Manitoba time. Five disciplines, one set of hands.
The plate below is our brand standard — same level of finish whether it's a powder-room backsplash or a hotel lobby floor.

Tile is a craft of sequencing — substrate, waterproofing, layout, edges, grout. Skip a step and it shows in five years. We don't.
Custom curbless showers, full waterproofing, finished to spec. Schluter-Kerdi waterproofing systems, mitered 45° edges, large-format porcelain on walls and floors. From a single shower rebuild to a full master ensuite.
Mosaic, subway, slab — set straight, grouted clean. Tight outlet cuts, level layout, epoxy grout when the kitchen needs to take a beating. Done in two days for most residential kitchens.
Entryways, kitchens, living spaces — engineered to last. Self-leveling underlayment, decoupling membranes, and the right thinset for the substrate. We don't skip the boring step that makes floors not crack.
Ditra-Heat and Nuheat systems, tested before tile goes down. Warm bathroom floors that work twenty winters from now. We integrate the heat layer with the waterproofing so nothing fails because two trades didn't talk.
Floor-to-ceiling porcelain slabs, cleanly mitered. Large-format slabs that read as a single sheet of stone. Heat-rated thinset, careful substrate, no visible seams where they shouldn't be.
Frost-rated installs that survive Winnipeg seasons. Proper drainage, frost-rated tile, freeze-thaw-rated thinset and grout. The reason patios fail is rarely the tile — it's everything underneath it.
Cracked tiles, blown-out grout, failing caulk — fixed. Targeted repairs that match the existing work. Full regrouts and re-seals for tile that's still good but starting to show its age.
Hotels, retail, restaurants. Built to a schedule. We work with builders, designers and general contractors on commercial fit-outs across Manitoba. From kitchen backsplash to hotel-scale install.
Most of our work is residential — but we've also tiled at scale. Builders, designers, and general contractors across Manitoba bring us in for projects that need to be done on schedule, sequenced with other trades, and finished to a spec sheet.
Lobbies, washrooms, hallways. Phased work that runs alongside other trades.
We read drawings, ask the right questions, and respect the spec.
Repeatable quality across multiple builds. Predictable timelines.
Slabs, large-format, mitered edges, complex waterproofing details.
Recent installs across Winnipeg and Manitoba — large-format porcelain, custom curbless showers, mosaic feature walls, mitered edges. New jobs added monthly.
Twenty years installing tile, including eight years training and working in Italy before bringing the trade to Winnipeg. Schluter-certified, manufacturer-trained, trade-school educated. Owner-operator and lead installer.
Grande Visto is a small team led by Vitalii — every project gets the same hands-on attention regardless of size, from a single backsplash to a full hotel build.
"I was taught in Italy that the substrate is half the job. The tile is the part people see — but the years of silence behind it are what we're really paid for."
Anything else, text us — same-day reply.
Two to four days for tile work on a standard residential bathroom — tear-out and substrate prep included. Larger ensuites or curbless builds run a bit longer; we'll give you a real timeline before we start.
Either way works. Most clients pick their own tile from a showroom — we'll happily walk through choices with you. If you'd rather we source it, we can.
Yes. Free in-home estimates across Winnipeg. For smaller jobs you can text photos and rough measurements and we'll quote from those.
We carry liability insurance and full WCB Manitoba coverage. We're Schluter-certified and trade-school trained. Manitoba doesn't license tile installers — credentials and insurance are what protect your project.
About a week is typical. Smaller jobs we can sometimes start the same week. Bigger renos book further out — text us and we'll give you the next opening.
Yes. Tear-out, debris removal, and substrate prep are part of the job — you don't have to coordinate a separate contractor.
Twelve months on workmanship. Tile and grout manufacturer warranties pass through to you on top of that.
Deposit on start, balance on completion. We accept e-transfer, cheque, and cash.
Notes from owners we've worked with across Winnipeg and the surrounding area. More feedback lives on Facebook and Instagram.

A few sentences and a couple of photos is all we need to give you a real quote. We reply same day — usually within an hour during business hours.
